Peter Beard (1938- …) est un photographe-artiste-documentariste américain qui a été marqué à tout jamais par son tout premier voyage en Afrique.
Plusieurs de ses photographies sont célèbres pour les paradoxes qu’elles présentent et les critiques qu’elles adressent sous le couvert de la photo de mode.
Beard a fait particulièrement parler de lui l’an dernier lors de sa participation au très célèbre calendrier Pirelli (2009) tiré chaque année à seulement 45000 exemplaires non-commercialisés et exclusivement distribués aux meilleurs clients de la compagnie de pneu & à une poignée de célébrités.
Si les images que vous voyez vous semblent sublimes, le making of saura certainement faire taire, l’espace d’un moment, votre envie de poser un jour pour Peter Beard.
