As-Heard-Present-Harvard-Bass-belmontThis december 5th our friends at As Heard From Mars are organizing a huge Techno/(Dutch?) House party @ LE BELMONT. If you’re a big fan of this kind of music you should definitely attend.

Indeed, juste take a look at the Line up:

Working in music since approximately 4 years,  Victor Amos started as a DJ (named Sleezy V), doing Hip-Hop/rock mashups. Nowadays, Harvard Bass is mostly known for his Techno/house productions on Sound Pellegrino that made him tour around the whole fucking world.

This is the solo tech-house project of mister Ed from NROTB.  Personally I must say that his sound — especially his last track : Favella — actually makes me think a lot to the sound of the Awkward Boys (see my previous post) ; like in-between techno, Lazer Bass and dutch house. Anyway, I’ll let you guys be the judges…

PANTON – Favela (128kbps … so sad)

Composed of the infamous super-famous (turns out that infamous never really meant scandalously famous :-S) Francis Latreille and Emile Lavoie of As Heard, Victoria Lab sound really was born from undeniable inspiration from Simian Mobile Disco and the like. I must say that I’m pretty amazed by what these two guys, real new comers in the music production business, we’re up to. I think they sure have a great future ahead.
